"My sobriety date is June 12, 1987. After 1 year sober, I started participating in 12-Step panels. I liked telling others about my new life. Through working the 12 steps, I was able to surrender my will and my life to God. After working on various panels, I was to become a part of many recovery hospitals, prisons and half-way homes. For fifteen years, I was volunteering my 12-Step experience and always enjoying carrying the message.
I facilitated group meetings at many treatment facilities like Whiteside Manor, Cedar House, Nelson House, Knollwood Hospital, Riverside Community Hospital, and Charter Hospital. I was also asked to speak at virtually every 12-Step speaker meeting in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego County. Part of my 12-Step service was holding group meetings for bi-polar men and woman. Ten years into sobriety, I began facilitating steps 5-8 of the 12 step program by listening to moral inventories. I have since developed a process where I take fellow alcoholics through steps four through step eight in one session. I have been blessed to heave helped clients from all over the United States and from foreign countries. Prior to my work at Sunrise Recovery Ranch, I facilitated weekly group meetings at Ten Acre Ranch for three years. The last six years have been spent at Sunrise Recovery Ranch, where I lecture and hold group process meetings. I make myself available to any clients who is willing to share with me step four through step eight of the 12-Step program. I have been greatly blessed!
