Sunrise Recovery Ranch is an outstanding rehabilitation treatment center for alcohol and drug addiction located in the Riverside foothills of the beautiful majestic Big Bear Mountain in Southern California.  Specialized for treating men, Sunrise Recovery Ranch is a nice, peaceful, and effective setting for men to work on inner issues that will allow them to begin long term recovery.

Our drug treatment program has a very high success rate in addressing and treating chemical dependency in males who are dependent on the entire spectrum of addictive substances including alcohol, heroin, opiates, cocaine, methamphetamines, ecstasy, steroids, marijuana, and prescription medications like vicodin and oxycontin.  Sunrise Recovery Ranch partners with a network of safe and comfortable detoxification facilities that can provide the appropriate medical care for the man who is in need of a medical detox from drugs or alcohol. Our staff of clinical recovery experts is also equipped to assess clients upon intake and on an ongoing basis to identify if the client is suffering from a dual diagnosis (such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, or PTSD) that also needs to be addressed simultaneously for the client to recover more effectively.

Addiction Treatment Program Stages

Stage 1: Primary Care at Sunrise Recovery Ranch
Through carefully structured drug treatment programs designed to meet the needs of each individual, we combine the 12-Step program with group therapy and individual counseling, outside psychiatric evaluation, medication management, activities, life skills, dual diagnosis counseling, and spirituality groups. Sunrise Recovery Ranch helps residents understand their disease, accept responsibility for their recovery, and find an alternative to the emotional turmoil that previously characterized their lives.

Stage 2: Extended Care at Sober Living by the Sea
After the primary treatment is successfully completed (usually in 30-60 days), then we recommend stepping down to a level of care with slightly less structure and supervision like the long term rehab (or "extended care program") at Sober Living by the Sea.

Stage 3: Outpatient or Transitional Work Program or College Program
There is a direct correlation between time spent in treatment and success rate for maintaining long term sobriety.  For this reason, once the man has successfully completed primary care at Sunrise Ranch and maintained his sobriety at our Sober Living by the Sea facility in Orange County, we have additional levels of care for the client to engage in while at Sober Living by the Sea which will allow them to receive long term support and continue to receive treatment while working, receive treatment and go to college, or receive treatment on an outpatient basis.
